Representatives from Fortis Energy, including General Coordinator Seçkin Dönmez and Head of Project Development Nevena Virijevic, accompanied Consul General of the Türkiye to Serbia in Niš, H.E. Atilla Küçüktalaşlı, during a visit to the Municipality of Bujanovac. They were welcomed by Municipality President Arbër Pajaziti and his associates to discuss potential energy investments in the region.

The primary focus of the meeting was the infrastructure construction of the Vranje 171 MWe Wind Park. Additionally, discussions covered potential investments in solar power plants, recognizing Bujanovac's exceptional capacity for renewable energy production.

With one of the highest numbers of sunny days in the region, Bujanovac presents a unique opportunity for strategic investments in green energy, paving the way for economic development and job creation. The municipality aims to attract sustainable energy projects that contribute to both local and national energy transition goals.
