A contract has been signed between Fortis Energy and Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for the installation of a 6906 kWp solar power plant.

A contract has been signed between Fortis Energy and Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for the installation of a 6906 kWp solar power plant. The plant, to be built in Tokça, Çivril district, will be realized with an investment of 167 million 94 thousand Turkish lira. The Tokça 6909 kWp Solar Power Plant is expected to generate 12 million kWh of clean and renewable energy annually.

This investment in renewable energy, in line with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality’s sustainable city goals, will contribute to lower carbon emissions and reduced energy costs for municipal services while also supporting the region’s green transformation process. With the commissioning of the Tokça 6909 kWp Solar Power Plant, the region’s clean energy capacity will increase, strengthening the municipality’s environmentally conscious city management approach. The electricity generated from solar energy will provide long-term economic and ecological benefits. The construction of the plant is expected to be completed within 2025.
