Fortis Energy will install 20 wind turbines in Jagodina and Rekovac as part of Juhor Wind Power Plant (144 MWe) project in Serbia. The project, which is currently undergoing detailed regulatory and technical planning, aims to install 20 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 7.2 MWe.
The project is being developed with a strong focus on environmental benefits, and the Juhor WPP will enhance energy security and support the green transformation of Southeastern Europe. Juhor WPP is expected to produce over 425 million kWh of electricity annually, supplying the energy needs of approximately 200,000 households from renewable sources. This project will prevent the release of about 300 million kg of carbon emissions each year, compared to fossil fuel-based electricity production.
