Fortis Energy has won Turkish Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality tender to build and operate a new 5,980 kWp solar plant. Municipality has signed the agreement with Fortis Energy on the building of the solar power plant. Fortis Energy plan to invest a total of TRY 136 million in the project.

The power plant, which will be built on an area of ​​100 thousand square meters, is expected to generate over 10 million kilowatt-hours of clean and renewable energy annually, which is enough to power 4,000 homes and prevent the emission of 7 million kilograms of CO2 equivalent from fossil fuels. It is planned to be operational in Q1 2025.
